Hello. The answer to yesterdays hunt is the statue the 4 parts of the earth.(Yay to Sofia and Isabelle for figuring it out!) But today we will do something in the Louvre and it is my favorite painting. Here are the clues for it. clue 1:This is a big painting. clue 2: This panting has a lot of people in it. clue 3:In this painting a royal ceremony is happening. There is also Napoleon 1 and his wife Josephine painted in it. It is a fairly famous painting by the artist Jacques Louis David. So those are the clues for today.
HINT: This painting took Mr. David 3 years to complete.
FACTS ABOUT THE LOUVRE
The Louvre used to be a palace for some of the Louis's and Marie Antionette. Today it houses the biggest collection of paintings in France. The Louvre is the biggest museum in France. The Louvre has a bunch of things collected from a long time ago that Napoleon the 1 stole from Greece and Eygypt for you to look at ( I think you think like me it's not fair .) So enjoy.
We are guessing it is the Coronation of Napoleon ... a huge painting really.... and the details on Josephine's garb are stunning.
