Hi! Did you figure out yesterdays hunt? If you didn't the answer is the gates of hell by Mr. Rodin. But today we will have a new hunt. It will be in the museum that was once a train station and everyone loves and knows about, the Orsay. And just so you know, in the Orsay there are places where you can eat if you get hungry. Now the clue today is, this is a statue it has 4 women on it and ones foot is chained to the ground. The sculptor is very famous. His name is Jean Carpeaux. So thats it for today.
HINT: this statue is in the front room of the Orsay.
FACTS ABOUT THE ORSAY.
THE ORSAY was originally a train station. An architect turned it into a museum in 1987. Since then, it has housed France's biggest collection of Impressionist paintings. Many of the paintings in there are by Monet, Van Gogh, Manet, Rosseau and Gaugin. The Orsay is opened to the public late on Thursday nights and there are very few crowds, so that is the best time to go.
the statue is called The Four Parts of the World.

... and their mommy thinks that the cast for Rodin's Gates of Hell is also at the Musee D'Orsay ... do I remember that correctly? A copy of the Gates is also at the Rodin Garden outside the museum at Stanford University, a great spot for an evening picnic.
